CLOUD.DEON.EU replacement by DEON.CLOUD

The service CLOUD.DEON.EU has been replaced by the new service DEON.CLOUD.
CLOUD.DEON.EU will only be available until October 20, 2025.

Please note: CLOUD.DEON.EU and DEON.CLOUD are different services which are not connected. Your account and all your data on CLOUD.DEON.EU will be automatically deleted after October 20, 2025. If you would like to keep your data, please download and save it locally. You can then migrate it to a new account on DEON.CLOUD.

To migrate your DEON projects from CLOUD.DEON.EU to DEON.CLOUD, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Download the DEON Projects you want to migrate:

  1. Start your DEON App and select the projects you wish to download in the DEON Project List.
    Note: You can select multiple projects by holding the SHIFT or CTRL key.
  2. Right-click on the selected projects and choose “Save as…” from the context menu.
  3. The projects will be saved as .join files in a location of your choice.

Step 2: Create a new account on DEON.CLOUD

  1. Create a new account at account.deon.cloud/register.
    Note: With a free plan the maximum amount of Projects and items per project will be limited. If you previously benefited from special conditions at cloud.deon.eu, please contact support@deon.de.
  2. Install and run the DEON.CLOUD App (available for download at account.deon.cloud).
    Note: The DEON.CLOUD App is a different application than your previous DEON App. It looks the same but it connects to the service deon.cloud instead of cloud.deon.eu.

Step 3: Upload the DEON Projects to DEON.CLOUD:

  1. Start the DEON.CLOUD App and sign in to your DEON.CLOUD account.
  2. IMPORTANT: If your new account belongs to your organisation (e.g. a company), make sure that the tenant of your organization is selected before you start uploading Projects. It will appear in the top toolbar next to your name in brackets. You can select it from the dropdown menu by clicking on your name. The currently selected tenant will be highlighted in blue.
  3. In the top-right corner of the Project List, click the “Upload Project” button .
  4. In the following dialog, select all the DEON projects you wish to upload. You can select multiple projects by holding the SHIFT or CTRL key.

Note:
If your projects were previously shared with other users, DEON will prompt you during the upload process to confirm whether you want to share the uploaded projects with the same users. If you choose “Yes”, DEON will attempt to match the users and apply the same sharing settings in the DEON.CLOUD environment.
