The CLOUD.DEON.EU service has been replaced by the new DEON.CLOUD service.
Please note: CLOUD.DEON.EU and DEON.CLOUD are different services that are not connected to each other. Your account and all your data on CLOUD.DEON.EU will be automatically deleted after October 20, 2025. If you want to keep your data, please download it and store it locally. You can then migrate it to a new account on DEON.CLOUD.
To migrate your DEON projects from CLOUD.DEON.EU to DEON.CLOUD, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Download the DEON projects you want to migrate:
- Start your DEON app and select the projects you want to download from the DEON project list.
Note: You can select multiple projects by holding the SHIFT– or CTRLkey pressed. - Right-click on the selected projects and choose „Save as…“ from the context menu.
- The projects will be saved as
.joinfiles at a location of your choice.
Step 2: Create a new account on DEON.CLOUD
- Create a new account at account.deon.cloud/register.
Note: With a free plan, the maximum number of projects and elements per project is limited. If you have previously benefited from special conditions on cloud.deon.eu, please contact support@deon.de. - Install and launch the DEON.CLOUD app (verfügbar for download at account.deon.cloud).
Note: The DEON.CLOUD app is a different application from your previous DEON app. It looks the same, but connects to the deon.cloud service instead of cloud.deon.eu.
Step 3: Upload the DEON projects to DEON.CLOUD:
- Start the DEON.CLOUD App and log in to your DEON.CLOUD account.
- IMPORTANT: If your new account belongs to your organization (e.g., a company), make sure that the tenant of your organization is selected before you start uploading projects. It appears in the top toolbar next to your name in parentheses. You can select it from the dropdown menu by clicking on your name. The currently selected tenant is highlighted in blue.
- Click in the upper right corner of the project list on the button „Upload Project“
. - Select all DEON projects you want to upload in the following dialog. You can select multiple projects by holding down the SHIFT– or CTRL-key pressed.
Note:
If your projects were previously shared with other users, DEON prompts you during the upload process to confirm whether you want to share the uploaded projects with the same users. If you „Yes“ select, DEON attempts to match the users and apply the same sharing settings in the DEON.CLOUD environment.
